About Lauren
Lauren, along with her husband and two small children, are proud residents of La Salle, MB. For the past 7 years Lauren has had her own consulting business, which she has recently stepped away from in order to put her full effort behind being the MLA for Midland.
Having devoted her career to the private sector, primarily in agri-food and manufacturing, Lauren has become a strong advocate for rural issues and rural economic development. She managed Corporate Affairs for Cargill Ltd, worked as a Policy Analyst for the Manitoba Beef Producers, and has consulted for locally-based manufacturing businesses.
She is an active Conservative and has worked at the Manitoba Legislature as a Policy Analyst for the Progressive Conservative Caucus. She volunteered on both the Morris and Midland constituency boards, and had a leadership role on a number of successful election campaigns over the past 15 years.
Lauren has farm roots in Western Manitoba, and her Husband, Matt, grew up on a farm in Domain. She is a volunteer coach in La Salle and volunteers on the La Salle Kidz Daycare Board of Directors. In 2019, she was appointed by the Minister of Health to the Board of Directors of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) as a rural representative.
